Superstar Rajinikanth has wrapped up filming for his upcoming movie Vettaiyan, helmed by TJ Gnanavel. Lyca Productions announced the milestone on Twitter, sharing a photo of the team alongside the iconic ‘Thalaivar’.

The title Vettaiyan carries significant nostalgia for Rajinikanth aficionados, reminiscent of his memorable portrayal in the blockbuster Chandramukhi. The teaser, unveiled on the actor’s 75th birthday, depicted Rajinikanth in various personas, fueling speculation about the complexity of his character.
For Rajinikanth, Vettaiyan holds a special place as it reunites him with his mentor, the legendary Amitabh Bachchan, after 33 years. Their collaboration has already generated considerable buzz, with the duo wrapping up a schedule in Mumbai recently.
This eagerly anticipated Tamil film will also hit screens in Hindi, Telugu, Malayalam, and Kannada, aiming to captivate a pan-Indian audience.
The star-studded cast includes Fahadh Faasil, Rana Daggubati, Manju Warrier, Dushara Vijayan, and Ritika Singh. Anirudh Ravichander is handling the music for the film, slated for release this October as per reports.
Following Vettaiyan, Rajinikanth will commence filming for Coolie, directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj. The teaser for Coolie, released recently, has sparked numerous fan theories about the movie’s plot.
